A very simple slogan for complicated people. How many times do you wish people would just do that? Are you able to do it yourself? Why send mixed signals or act out of the ordinary when you can just simply say what you mean and simply mean what you say. But don’t just say it, MEAN IT!

For many of us COMMITMENT means getting married and staying together forever until we no longer exist. The idea of COMMITMENT has changed over time though, and many people avoid getting involved with such an idea. COMMITMENT covers different areas and it is essential that you know what you wish to commit to and if the person you are interested in, feels the same. There are several different types of COMMITMENTS. An emotional COMMITMENT is when you are there for you partner whenever he or she needs you and they are there for you as well. You make each other first priority in your lives and stay together through the bad times and even make certain sacrifices. A differences COMMITMENT is when you COMMIT to each other’s differences and respect them. You agree to disagree on things, without letting it blow out of proportion. You accept each other’s personalities without ever attempting to change your partner. Although these are all separate COMMITMENTS, they can all combine, which is what most people are looking for when they are trying to find a partner. A sexual COMMITMENT is when the both of you agree to perform sexual activity only with one another or if the two of you agree to involve other people.
Some people may even agree to sleep with others without the other involved, as long as they inform each other about it. For many of us COMMITMENT means getting married and staying together forever until we no longer exist. Understanding why you want a COMMITMENT will make things clear for you and your partner. Many people often wish to commit for the reason that they feel it is a pattern they must follow. They feel they will be judged negatively if they do not eventually COMMIT fully to a person.

Do you want a COMMITMENT because your parents are pressuring you?

Or do you truly wish to settle down and strengthen your relationship?

No matter what situation your relationship is in, understanding and keeping the COMMITMENT can be confusing, misleading and disappointing. It can also build an extremely strong and loving bond if the two of you met at an agreeing level.

Lately, some people within our generation have been “prospected” to have their priorities improperly aligned. Yeah, of course we have heard the well known “why” questions several times; such as, why is it so easy to reject a good person, yet we stay with someone who puts us through hell? Why is it so easy for us to leave home, but so hard for us to come up out of the hole? Why do we sleep in church, but stay awake through a 3 hour play, stand-up comedy or movie? Why is it so hard to talk, pray and interact with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but so easy to talk, demand and interact in premarital sex? Why are we so bored when we look at a Christian book, but find it so interesting, suspenseful, entertaining, mind-blowing and stress-relieving when we read a Zane book? Why is it so easy to ignore a Christian based fwd message but we forward the demeaning ones? Why is it so easy to worship and idolize a celebrity or famous person, but difficult to idolize God? There are SO many “why” questions that we could sit back and ask ourselves but asking is not going to surpass us out of this “soul and spirit sucking” situation. We have to have the momentum. We have to have the motivation. We have to have the conscience and ability to surpass this situation, all of which we were originally blessed with since birth. It’s our job to make the best possible use of it. If everyone, more specifically our generation, thought about Mark 12:30 before they made any sudden and life drenching action, more than likely we wouldn’t be in the predicament we’re in now. Everyone sits back, say and/or wonder why is the weather constantly changing? They blame Mother Nature mostly. No, don’t blame Mother Nature, blame the time period we’re in. The bible clearly informs us about the weather changing being a sign of the end of time. *Look the verse up specifically for yourself, maybe it’ll help you start the bond you need with the Bible! ;)* Nonetheless, we have so many questions, concerns and complaints and however, we can not get upset but the answer to everything we’re concerned with is in the Bible. So, if we solve our own problems by simply fasting, praying, and creating a bond with Jesus Christ & the Bible, making great use of what we’re blessed with such as common sense and intelligence, and keeping a smile on our face because they’re is always someone in a worse situation than you then everything will be alright. Remember, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your mid and all your strength” Mark 12:30.

A best friend is the person that walks in when other walk out. A best friend will always find a way to love you even when you’ve done something that you cannot fix. A friend will put a smile on your face, a BEST friend will crack you up til you almost pee in your pants!! A friend will wipe the tears away when you’ve been rejected by a crush or broken up with your boyfriend, a BEST friend will go up to him and say, “it’s because you’re gay isn’t it?” Lol!

As fast as we became friends, we noticed how faster we can come across losing each other, how much more friends we will become friends with (even the ones you never think you will). We try our hardest to remember the good times we all have together because time and reality is moving fast and the reality is some of us will never see our best friend again and some of us will; but, even though we’ll all change and gradually mature, we will always remember the good times we shared and the time we said, “BEST FRIENDS TIL THE END!”
